Eating for longevity in Dubai
No meal can promise you a longer life. What the evidence does support is a pattern: mostly plants, plenty of variety, whole ingredients. Here is what that looks like on a plate in Dubai.
What the guidance says
The World Health Organization's healthy-diet guidance rests on four ideas: enough, balanced, moderate and varied. It asks for at least 400 g of fruit and vegetables a day and at least 25 g of naturally occurring fibre. Source: WHO healthy diet fact sheet.
What it looks like at lunch
Start with leaves and vegetables, add a serious portion of protein, keep the dressing on the side, and vary what you eat through the week. Four SALATA dishes built that way:
Classic Cobb
Kale, purslane and rocca with grilled chicken, avocado, feta and organic egg.
Autumn In Tuscany
Rocca and spinach with orecchiette, chicken pesto and sundried tomato.
The Wolverine
Romaine and mixed greens with grilled chicken, mozzarella, avocado and baked pita.
Butcher's Bowl
Spinach and mixed greens with grilled steak, cauliflower rice and shredded carrot.

Can food help you live longer?
No single food or meal can promise that. The World Health Organization's healthy-diet guidance points to the same habits: plenty of fruit and vegetables, fibre, variety, and not too much of what you don't need.
How many vegetables should I eat a day?
The World Health Organization recommends at least 400 g of fruit and vegetables a day.
Where can I eat a plant-led lunch in Dubai?
SALATA builds gourmet salads and bowls around leaves, vegetables and whole ingredients, and delivers across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Order on Deliveroo, Talabat, Noon, Careem or Keeta.
Is dressing included?
Every SALATA dressing is packed on the side, so you decide how much goes on.
